The Roman Road to Salvation! Romans 3:10-11 | According to the Bible there is none righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. | Romans 3:23 | This is true, and we all know it, because we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Being a sinner we are therefore imperfect. | Romans 5:8 | Thankfully, God demonstrates His own love for us because while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. | Romans 6:23 | Besides being imperfect, the penalty or the consequence of sin is death. Since only the death of Christ can make us perfect, the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. | Romans 10:9-13 | Therefore, if you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that God sacrificed Christ, shed His blood and raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and appropriate the gift. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame." For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." |
