Acts 7:23

“Church” is the English word for the Greek “Ecclesia” which means “called out Assembly”.  The Jews called out of Egypt by Moses was the “Church in the Wilderness.”  The Remnant in Revelation will again be the “Church in the Wilderness.”

The “Church the Body of Christ” on the other hand is only those that are promised to become a temple of the Holy Spirit and member of the Body of Christ.  This promise is only made by Apostle Paul in the Dispensation of the Grace of God.  In Ephesians, Paul says we are part of Christ’s flesh and bones.  That is why we are already seated with Christ in heavenly places.  That is also why we cannot lose our position in heaven because God cannot kick Christ (and His Body) out of Heaven.
